Zombie Films

Films whcih contain Zombies (or have a storng zombie-related heme) are just about the only ones from horror pantheon which have the power to scare me.

White Zombie (1932)

The first zombie movie - based in W.E. Seabrook's "Dead Men Working in the Cane Field" which, although preceeded by 40+ years of zombie stories hit a chord as the US occupation of haiti had just ended (revolts in 1929 led to the US' departure in 1934 instead of the planned date of 1936).

Women bikers, a bus full of blind orphans, a radioactive mine, zombies, chainsaws, guns, a dwarf, etc. - it sounds a lot better on paper than it does in real life but aren't Troma films all like this?? It is still a zombie film you need to see!!
