The Emperor

Amazonian

One of the Con_cat tools which is designed to tap into Amazon's Web Services - I have a test version up and running (just not yet available for human consumption) which uses the REST technique but this relies on Expat and this isn't yet a standard module and it may be that I should look into using SOAP to also access the data as I am already using SOAP with U Ranker (which uses Google's SOAP-based Web Services). There are a couple of good tutorials on this at DevShed.

REST vs. SOAP at Amazon - interesting statistics that 85% of the users of Amazon's Web Services use REST and there is a follow up discussion on the W3C's mailing lists
